As sported/spotted in Global Reggae class last week —

random dreadlock t-shirt

Jury’s still out on who that guy with the dreadlocks is. My student assumed it was Bob Marley. Now he knows better.

    Hmmm. I’d say he’s a contender. Something about the eyes that don’t quite match up for me. But Blender seems a closer match than Mumia anyway. Thanks!

    A friend of mine suggested that it could be a young Big Youth (if it isn’t Burning Spear or someone else)

    I’ve googled through a bunch of reggae stars and the one I think matches the best is Max Romeo, if it weren’t for the dreadlocks (Romeo’s are much, much thicker).

    Hm, thanks for the continued guesses. Afraid none of these seem quite right to me. I gotta say, the “random” dread hypothesis seems more and more likely — if bizarre — as an explanation.
