And even if (sadly &#8212; for all of us, not just him) Zizek&#8217;s mostly remixing his ol&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Welcome-Desert-Real-September-Related\/dp\/1859844219\">desert of the real<\/a> spiel, I was totally tickled to see him &#8212; in so many words &#8212; call Bush an &#8220;Iranian Agent.&#8221; Now, how about making dude a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thepervertsguide.com\/about.html\">film critic<\/a> too?<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/videoplay?docid=2151003492809801090\">Extreme Archeology!<\/a> (thx 2 <a href=\"http:\/\/daily.billtron.org\/\">billtron<\/a> &#8212; another ethnomusiblogger)<embed style=\"width:400px; height:326px;\" id=\"VideoPlayback\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" src=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/googleplayer.swf?docId=2151003492809801090&#038;hl=en\" flashvars=\"\"><\/embed>Just wait until us <a href=\"http:\/\/webdb.iu.edu\/sem\/scripts\/home.cfm\">ethnoids<\/a> get in the game. I can see it now: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Why-Suya-Sing-Anthropology-Amazonian\/dp\/0252072022\">Why Suy&aacute; Skydive<\/a> &#8212;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>&#038;speaking of ethnomusibloggers, our ranks seem to be swelling. And I think that&#8217;s just swell. The musical blogosphere should be v happy to have him <a href=\"http:\/\/www.versionist.com\/blogs\/viewblog.php?userid=404\">back in it<\/a>. (Having corresponded with Pete for, shit, several years now &#8212; he originally found me via the ol&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/wayneandwax.org\/blog.html\">Jamaica blog<\/a> &#8212; <em>I&#8217;m<\/em> v happy to finally put <a href=\"http:\/\/www.versionist.com\/blogs\/viewblog.php?entry=121&#038;userid=404\">face<\/a> to name.) Given that Pete hipped me to dubstep back when it still seemed confined to Croydon &#8212; even while living in fckn Australia &#8212; I can only imagine what he&#8217;s gonna get himself into now that he&#8217;s left his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austlii.edu.au\/au\/journals\/ILB\/2003\/4.html\">academic gig<\/a> downunder for the undergroun of London.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>&#038; though it really deserves a post all its own, I can&#8217;t resist putting this in this mix:<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/courses.law.harvard.edu\/fall_06\/nesson_cyberone\/jkrop\/index.html\">Law and the Constitution in the Superhuman Age<\/a> &#8212; a new course at Marvard University<br \/>\n<br \/>\nA lil explanation:<br \/>\n[audio:http:\/\/courses.law.harvard.edu\/fall_06\/nesson_cyberone\/jkrop\/audio\/Civil_War.mp3]\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>If you didn&#8217;t catch it, the &#8220;course&#8221; above is a project from the Nessons&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/cyberone\/\">CyberOne<\/a>. Which reminds me, <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/nesson\/blog\/?p=234\">Charlie<\/a>&#8216;s teaching a three week <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/cyberone\/wiki\/Evidence_2007\">evidence course<\/a> this month. And with Becca as virtual bailiff, they&#8217;ll be holding a <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/cyberone\/wiki\/Evidence-At-Large\">moot court in SecondLife<\/a>, concerning a real case involving a property dispute in SL. (For the legally curious, they&#8217;ll be trying the case twice: w\/r\/t the EULA and w\/r\/t common law.)
