The song is by Jessy Matador<\/a>, who is apparently from the DRC but whose MySpace<\/a> has him repping “Paris\/Dakar\/Miami\/Kinshasa.” He’s clearly plugged into the Francophone world, and if I’m not mistaken this track is somehow connected to Guadeloupe (Gwada). But Google<\/a> doesn’t translate most of the (French?) lyrics<\/a>. I do like what it gives me for the first verse, tho —<\/p>\n
