Thru the Ringer

Last week my phone got put through the ringer — the rinse cycle, to be precise — and it was pronounced dead on retrieval. So it goes. Today I got a new phone, about which I’m excited, but I’m sorry to say that I lost all of my contacts from the old one.

It saddens me to think that I might not be able to txt a friend to say hello, is it me you’re looking for, etc., and so, I’m asking any of you out there who might be phone buddies with me — you have my #, I have yours — to take this opportunity to send me a little hello and remind me of yr number. (Mine’s the same.) I’ll add you to my contacts again & then next time you need a ride from the airport, it’ll be that easy.

thx !

just for kicks, here’s my voicemail message, ca. 2000 —

dude, there is something profoundly weird about using stereo panning in your outgoing voicemail message!
