its funny to hear this on the radio b/c all of the sudden it’s “let’s turn up the satanic music!” & a whole meta-take on reggaeton tropes .
its much better than but unlike grime’s Lips 2 Da Floor – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXxLbLvCRrk – genres enriching themselves thru parody, hyperbole, irony, body jokes, etc

Nice blog btw. You might have lost a reader because of reggaeton, you’ve gained one too now ;) I love your analytical view on music.

Yeah, sorry not to have a more analytical post yet on Calle 13’s new one (or this video, which is pretty adorable). Haven’t heard the whole thing yet. Need to pick that up. Hasta pronto!
